1 Month in

You would think Id make blogging a little more of a priority....   I left all the fitness facebook groups because.... meh.  Not worth the time and you get lost in the shuffle unless you post a bazillion times a day which is annoying.

Today is Friday. Weigh in is Saturday.

I have gone from
220 before Thanksgiving '16
199 New Years Day
196 Jan 7th
191 Jan 14th
188 Jan 21
??? Jan 28th

Id be happy at 155ish but my goal is 145 then start building muscle.


I have been Using My Fitness pal (@KristynsFlab if ya want to follow) every day and coming in under my goal.

I walk 1 or 2 times a day -3.1 miles each depending on my time

I am using the Hybrid Warrior Les Mills Combat Dvds 6 days a week which I started January 9th.

I flaked out yesterday and just walked a ton but skipped my dvd.  I get to catch up today.  ....

I am pushing myself really hard.  I want to connect with others trying to lose weight the right way.  No fad diets.  No apple cider vinegar diets.  No lemon drink diets.  No maple syrup cayenne water nasty stuff.  Yeah, you do these diets for 4, 5 or 10 days and guess what you are STARVING your body.  And yes you will loose weight then as soon as you eat any food it will jump right back on.

Food is fuel and you have to treat it as such.  So many motivation groups are like I'm gonna walk once or twice a week and just eat less of what I'm eating but don't want to lose my carbs or sugar and don't want to count calories......  depending on the situation yeah that may help if you do nothing ever.  or whats the fastest way to lose 20 pounds in a month... Um cut off your leg?  

Unless you are willing to make a life change and get serious you will never change.

Understanding how to properly fuel your body.

Motivation.
Healthy Food.
Sweat.

Get Moving.

It worked once, so lets try it again.

After digging around in the garage the other day I FINALLY found my workout DVDs.

I used to workout in the garage because I had the most room out there.  Since then, I rearranged so I can workout in the house.  Plus it 30 degrees out right now.

 I really loved these DVDs.  They were a challenge but fun.  I even ended up getting on Spotify and downloaded the playlist to jog to when I used to go to the gym.

6:08 am 12/27/2016

This morning Im getting the kids up and then meal prep🍴.

I didnt have any chicken like I thought I did but I do have a huge amount of turkey breast so that works.

I feel rough this morning.  I think its the dread of weaning off tea.  That's my poison.   I would say I have had 3 cans of pop this year.  But unsweet tea..... I make a gallon pitcher every day and Id say I drink half.  And usually 2 cups of coffee.

If I can get this weeks meal prep done before day light, before chores, Ill be on time for the day.💪

I plan on working out this evening after the kids go to bed.  Pics will be on Instagram later.

1:52 pm, 12/26/2016

I am sitting at my makeshift computer desk the day after Christmas feeling so  blah.  

I swore I would never get back to this point.
I lost 106 pounds once - in 10 months too.
I just got off the scale.....
                        ...it read 199.

I eat because I can.  No reason.  I am rarely hungry.

I keep making excuses.
I have 9 kids.
Ive had 2 babies since my weight loss
I had an emergency c-section last time....
                                         .......nearly 14 months ago.....


I am scared to lose the weight this time.
I have extra skin on my stomach.
What will happen to it?
Will it sag and hang?
Will it go away.  Not likely.

A tummy tuck will never be an option.
Can I deal with it?
Can I deal with being over weight one more day?

I just scanned Instagram and I cannot believe how motivated it makes me to see strong women taking charge of themselves.  

I can do this again.

I will do this again.

Dropping 50 will not be easy.  But I HAVE done it.

Watch out 2017.

Oh its been so long since Ive logged onto Blogger!

Oh heres MASSIVE updates!

2-4-12  163.8 POUNDS!  Can you believe it?!?!?  Thats over 81 pounds lost!!

I have counted I dont know how many calories - worked out I dont know how many hours- but its all been SOOOOOO worth it!  I'll be posting pics soon!

Weigh in results for 10/22/122

Well my total loss so far is 12.4 pounds!   

 I keep small goals in mind and keep my calories in check.

 This weekend will not be as easy - I am having a little halloween party for my in laws and nephews Friday night. 

I have to make snacks and goodies - still gonna keep track- gotta keep going!
